About the Youth Board
The ProVeg Youth Board comprises 20 passionate young activists who work alongside our UN team to advocate for more sustainable, plant-based food systems at international events around the world, as well as through their own advocacy and initiatives.
During their mandate, board members collaborate closely with the UN team, contributing to projects, sharing their expertise, and supporting the preparation of key global engagements, such as Bonn Climate Conferences in June, the World Food Forum flagship events, climate COPs, and much more. Through this work, they help amplify youth perspectives, strengthen advocacy efforts, and drive meaningful conversations on the future of food systems.

What do Youth Board members do?
- Promote and push plant-based diets in actions related to the board.
- Generate content for social-media channels.
- Share ProVeg campaigns they are involved with on their own social channels and networks.
- Contribute to different UN projects and campaigns, depending on capacity level (UN campaigns we are leading, written contributions we are preparing, the Action on Food Hub Pavilion, speaking opportunities at online and in-person events, and more).
- Suggest topics or campaigns they want to see tackled or happening and take initiative in terms of actions.
